Man arrested after Crayford bookies armed robbery

Police have arrested a man after a Crayford bookmakers saw an armed robbery yesterday (Sunday 25 April).

The 51 year old suspect is also believed to be behind a number of other armed robberies across London including one in Lee the day before (Saturday 24 April).

UPDATE: Police have stated Brett Mullan, 51 of Wellington Street in Gravesend has today (Tuesday 26 April) has been charged.

The two south east London armed robberies followed three others.

The Flying Squad were behind the arrest which was made the same day the suspect struck in Crayford.

He remains in custody. No injuries occured during the robbery spree.
