Night tube returns on the Northern this Saturday

Night tube services are set to begin again this weekend on the Northern line according to Transport for London.

All-night services will run this Saturday night and into Sunday morning.

North Greenwich station saw night services return last month

24 hour services on a Friday and Saturday recommenced on the Jubilee line last month.

Night tube services returned last year to the Central and Victoria lines.

Bank station upgrade

Overnight services follow a momentous year for the Northern line which saw the extension to Battersea Power Station open alongside the rebuilt Bank station in mid-May.

The night tube has seen a long-running dispute and industrial action. TfL state impact is minimal, though at just two trains an hour on some lines, frequency has on occasion been extremely low.

As a private renter living costs are very high and ads bring in relatively little to the site. I run it alone, and you can support me through Paypal with a one-off or monthly donation here

Another option is via Patreon with offers monthly payments by clicking here

Finally there's the Ko-fi option

Many thanks

I've lived in south east London most of my life growing up in Greenwich borough and working in the area for many years. The site has contributors on occasion and we cover many different topics. Living and working in the area offers an insight into what is happening locally.
