Thames Water finally start work at Woolwich leak after nearly a month

Work to repair a leaking water pipe in Woolwich town centre has begun today after nearly a month of waiting.

Thames Water have closed one side of  Woolwich New Road beside Tesco.

Road closed beside Tesco where flammable cladding being replaced (but sadly the same dreary colour scheme seems to remain)

Work is expected to take five days to complete.

Thames Water blamed delays on fixing the issue due to pressures with other leaks and nearby work to remove flammable cladding.

As a private renter living costs are very high and ads bring in relatively little to the site. I run it alone, and you can support me through Paypal with a one-off or monthly donation here

Another option is via Patreon with offers monthly payments by clicking here

Finally there's the Ko-fi option

Many thanks
