Blackheath and Greenwich dispersal notice issued
Greenwich police have issued a dispersal notice covering Greenwich Park and Blackheath with the fair in town.
It follows serious disorder at the fair earlier this year.
I’m aware of the large-scale disorder taking place on Circus Field, Blackheath.
The police are deploying extra resource.
Please avoid the area.
If you believe your child is at the funfair or in the area, please ask them to return home immediately.

The order runs from 1pm today (Thursday 18th August) until 1pm on 20th August.
The dispersal notice is a good idea while the fair is on Blackheath. Unfortunately there was trouble the last time the fair was on the heath. Spoling the enjoyment of families children and decent people.
All because groups of people go out with sole aim of causing trouble just like football hooligans..
