Consultation on 70 new flats in Erith from BexleyCo

A consultation event has been held showing plans for 70 new flats in Erith.

Information is still available online and feedback is accepted on plans from Bexley Council’s spin-off developer BexleyCo.

The site is located extremely close to Erith station. Seconds away. Southeastern serve Erith station but Thameslink skips it.

Proposed view along Walnut Tree Road

Erith is about five minutes to Abbey Wood to connect with the Elizabeth line.

There are 15 car spaces proposed for 70 homes, so as ever if you must have a car then don’t move into a development beside a station that is predominantly designed for those who do not need or want a vehicle.

A large number of bus routes also stop directly outside.

The site will contain one commercial unit on a public walkway leading to the station entrance.

Riverside Gardens is also close, with the green space set to see renovation.
