Woman dies after being hit by van in Charlton

Police are appealing for information after a woman died after being hit by a van in Charlton.

The incident occurred on Tuesday evening (18 April) when police were were called at 10:33pm after reports a woman had been hit by a van in Atlas Gardens, Charlton. She was 44 years old.

The Met state: “Officers attended along with paramedics from the London Ambulance Service. Despite their efforts, the woman died at the scene a short time later.”

Atlas Gardens runs off Anchor and Hope Land and near Bugsy’s Way.
