Lewisham Square development nearing completion

This past week taking pics of Lewisham developments I spotted a development in that hasn’t been covered on this site for some time, so I thought it’s worth a brief update.

New blocks at the former Axion House site on Silver Road in Lewisham are now nearing completion with cladding being applied as it approaches occupation in early 2024.

With a mass of development around Lewisham station this site has taken a bit of a back seat.

When complete, 141 homes will be located here.

The site is visible on trains heading to the Sidcup line given its location beside the tracks – as seen above.

Joining this site in completion are Lewisham’s tallest tower and smaller blocks from Meyer Homes on the former Tesco car park and Lewisham Gateway.

Next up will be rebuilding Lewisham shopping centre with an estimated 2,500 homes and shops with a planning application expected this year.

There’s also plans to demolish and rebuild the Tesco supermarket with the site recently sold.

As a private renter living costs are very high and ads bring in relatively little to the site. I run it alone, and you can support me through Paypal with a one-off or monthly donation here

Another option is via Patreon with offers monthly payments by clicking here

Finally there's the Ko-fi option

Many thanks

There's also a Facebook page for the site here
