Woolwich S60 order issued after stabbing

Police have issued a Section 60 order tonight after a serious assault on the Royal Arsenal site in Woolwich.

It’s reported that a large gathering occurred in the area with a 16 year old being stabbed in the arm near Tesco Express.

The order also covers areas of Plumstead.

An area of the Arsenal site is tapped off by police as investigations continue.

UPDATE: The met state: “Two males have been arrested for possession of an offensive weapon after a bus was stopped in Broadway, Bexleyheath. A large knife has been recovered from the bus. The arrests came after officers responded quickly to reports of people with knives in Woolwich town centre.”

Anyone with information can contact police by calling 101.

  • Watched the whole thing unfold from SALT – at least 3 lads wearing masks. Supposed to have been connected to a house party, according to the bar staff.
