West Ham station tower starting to soar

A tower rising beside West Ham station is now increasingly visible across east London as it rises.

This is the most visible part of Twelvetrees Park; a development that will eventually total 3,800 homes.

Beside station

Acres of land lie to the west of the station that has been unbuilt for many years. When complete the project will see another entrance to West Ham station.

Phase one totals 1,057 units and a secondary school.

Overall site of 3,800 homes

A green strip will run through the site from the station.

Cladding is now appearing on lower parts of the tower.

Cladding now on lower floors

Berkeley Homes are behind the development, which joins many others beside stations on the eastern half of the Jubilee line and across the DLR network.

A factor in the strong passenger recovery being seen on the DLR despite Elizabeth line services now running in full.

As a private renter living costs are very high and ads bring in relatively little to the site. I run it alone, and you can support me through Paypal with a one-off or monthly donation here

Another option is via Patreon with offers monthly payments by clicking here

Finally there's the Ko-fi option

Many thanks

There's also a Facebook page for the site here

I've lived in south east London most of my life growing up in Greenwich borough and working in the area for many years. The site has contributors on occasion and we cover many different topics. Living and working in the area offers an insight into what is happening locally.
