Woolwich hit and run sees 8 year old injured

An eight year old boy has been injured in Woolwich town centre after being hit by a vehicle.

The driver did not stop after the incident on Calderwood Street.

The boy was hit around 2.15pm on Monday 3rd July and suffered a serious leg injury.

His condition is not described as being life-threatening or life-changing.

Anyone who can help should contact police on 101.
