Greenwich festival on across town this Saturday

The Greenwich and Docklands festival gets underway once again this bank holiday weekend with events on Friday and Saturday.

A full day of events is on tomorrow across Greenwich town centre following the opening tonight in Woolwich on Friday 25 August which will see a tightrope walker at 7pm.

Cutty Sark Gardens will see events on Saturday

Events in Greenwich will run from 1pm to 7pm on Saturday 26 August at a number of sites across town which can be seen here.

General Gordon Square

All shows are free to visit and do not require tickets. Though of course if they get too busy it’ll be a tough job to see.

Ariel show “The Space Between Us” will be on twice during the Saturday in Greenwich park.

Following that will be other events in Stratford, Canary Wharf, Thamesmead and beyond.

I've lived in south east London most of my life growing up in Greenwich borough and working in the area for many years. The site has contributors on occasion and we cover many different topics. Living and working in the area offers an insight into what is happening locally.
