Lewisham DLR armed robbery attempt: Police seek help

Police are looking for anyone who may be able to help after an armed robbery attempt on a train at Lewisham DLR station.

The incident occurred around 8pm on Monday 28th August with two arrested and a handgun and knives recovered.

British Transport Police state that anyone with information can contact them either texting 61016 quoting reference 639 of 28/08/23.

After the incident BTP said “armed police attended and quickly identified two young men who were found in possession of a hand gun and two knives.”
