Momo takeaway looks to be coming to Plumstead

Plumstead High Street is set to see a momo takeaway according to recently submitted plans.

Milsha Stores have moved over the road and now there’s a plan to convert their former unit into a food outlet at number 98.

That’s next to Chick Chicken and opposite Abery Street car park.

It’s great news and a momo takeaway would ideally be in every town. Growing up with Nepali friends meant eating a lot over the years.

Places like Kailish Momo in Woolwich are great as sit down restaurants but a takeaway offers a welcome alternative.

And if you’ve never had them get on it. It’s like a dumpling that can be steamed or fried served on its own or in sauce. Fillings vary and it hits the spot.

A bit like a pierogi too. Now if someone wanted to open a takeaway selling those too it would be much welcome.
