Toddler attacked by Bully XL dog on street in Greenwich

A 20-month-old boy has been hospitalised after being attacked by an American Bully XL dog in Greenwich.

Police state a dog attacked the toddler on the street yesterday (Monday 2nd October) near the Hilton hotel on Catherine Grove.

A 30-year-old man was arrested and charged with allowing a dog to be dangerously out of control.

The dog was captured and has since been put to sleep.

The incident follows a number of attacks across the country before government announced the breed would be banned.
