Greenwich town centre closed due to gas leak

Areas of Greenwich town centre have been closed today due to a suspected gas leak.

Greenwich Church Street has been closed leading to bus diversions.

200 people have been evacuated with London Fire Brigade on scene.

The incident has been ongoing since late morning today (Thursday 9 November).

Roads are slow going in the area
