Woolwich cafe set for revamp as part of £25m project

The latest Woolwich town centre refurbishment plan has been submitted for the Friend’s Cafe.

It’s the latest in a number of shopfront changes which is part of a wider £25 million project covering much of Woolwich including Powis Street and Beresford Square.

Other changes are ongoing including at another cafe near the Waterfront as well as a pub to the west of the town centre.

Work now complete

Just yesterday I looked at the latest with Powis Street changes which is currently being dug up as work begins.

Beresford Square was fenced off weeks ago as work gets underway there.
