Panoramic views of Greenwich on offer

Fancy taking in a view across Greenwich not  open to many?

If so, your luck is in as a rare chance to scale the domes at the Royal Naval College site is available in coming weeks.

Now part of the University of Greenwich,  you can scamper up a dome as part of small-scale tours of six people and a guide.

It’s not cheap at 48 quid (!) though does at least include the chance to see the Painted Hall which now sets you back £15.

I remember sneaking in years back for nowt when there was a Nelson event on. Alas, not so easy to do now.

If you can afford almost fifty quid then booking is available here.

  • Should be free for residents of Greenwich but I don’t mind them fleecing the tourists to repay the council’s enormous debts.

    • I don’t think the council has anything to do with this.
