Flat fire near Slade Green station injures five
A fire in a flat at Sun Court this morning saw 70 firefighters attend with five injured.
London Fire Brigade state that two were rescued and a total of five people required treatment.
The block is located on Sun Court off Lincoln Road and a short distance from Slade Green station and the loop line around to the Bexleyheath line.
Investigations continue into the cause of the fire.
London fire Brigade were called at 9:20am and the fire was under control by 11:33am. Fire crews from Bexley, Plumstead, East Greenwich, Lee Green, Erith and surrounding fire stations attended the scene.
