Teenage boy fatally stabbed in Woolwich

A teenage boy has died after a stabbing in Woolwich this evening (Sunday 22 September).

The Met states that a disturbance was reported on Eglinton Road at 6:35pm. The victim died at the scene.

Eglinton Road runs from the junction with Herbert Road to a spot close to Woolwich Common.

No arrests have been made. Anyone with information can call police at 101 quoting reference CAD 5989/22Sep.”

Less than two years ago a serious stabbing incident occurred on Herbert Road.

    • How very sad another young life lost to knife crime in London. My thoughts are with the victims family and friends at this very difficult tine.
