Charlton retail park unit to gain new occupant

A unit on a Charlton retail park is set to see a new occupant move into the former TKMaxx shop.

Unit 1 will be taken on by Ebebek according to a new planning application.

Proposed shopfront

I confess I’d never heard of them. Turns out its a children’s clothing and toy shop.

The front canopy will also be removed as part of the plan.

TK Maxx moved to nearby retail park

TKMaxx who formerly occupied the unit previously moved to a nearby retail park to the east.

All sorts of plans come and go for the various retail parks. At one point a drive-through Metro bank was even proposed for the Mcdonald’s site. That never happened.

As a private renter living costs are very high and ads bring in relatively little to the site. I run it alone, and you can support me through Paypal with a one-off or monthly donation here

Another option is via Patreon with offers monthly payments by clicking here

Finally there's the Ko-fi option

Many thanks

There's also a Facebook page for the site here

  • It will be good seeing the empty unit coming back in to use. A store selling childrens clothes and toys will be good for parents. I have looked on the companies website and the prices are reasonable. If they get planning permission granted then I am sure the new store will be very successful being located on a retail park close to other stores and supermarkets.
