Lantern festival coming to Greenwich peninsula
A day of activities at Greenwich peninsula outside the o2 is set to be held tomorrow (Saturday 2 November) for Diwali.
A lantern festival will be held between 6pm-7pm but a whole day of event is planned beforehand.
A lantern-making workshop will be held alongside henna tattooing. DJs will be playing and chai tea on offer.
Food stalls at Canteen within the Design District will be offering food.
Passing by earlier this week saw construction work which looked to be part of the event.

Note that some events such as lantern making require booking. The event starts at midday and will end at 9pm.
