Docklands Light Railway suspended on Woolwich Arsenal branch

There are currently no Docklands Light Railway services between Woolwich Arsenal and West Silvertown after a person was hit by a train.

An incident at London City Airport around 12:45pm resulted in a person being pronounced dead.

No DLR services from Woolwich Arsenal

Transport for London state: “GOOD SERVICE on all other DLR routes. London Underground is accepting their tickets via any reason route.”

As a private renter living costs are very high and ads bring in relatively little to the site. I run it alone, and you can support me through Paypal with a one-off or monthly donation here

Another option is via Patreon with offers monthly payments by clicking here

Finally there's the Ko-fi option

Many thanks

There's also a Facebook page for the site here

I've lived in south east London most of my life growing up in Greenwich borough and working in the area for many years. The site has contributors on occasion and we cover many different topics. Living and working in the area offers an insight into what is happening locally.

  • So very sad to learn of this tragic incident on the DLR today. My thoughts are with the persons family and friends and everyone involved in the incident including DLR staff and emergency services staff who attended the scene.
