Blackheath music festival given the green light

A festival planned for Blackheath this summer has gained approval at Greenwich Council’s Licensing Committee.

The event named 4 Corners is to be held on 24-25 May 2025. Events will be held between midday and 10pm.

In a report documenting the council’s decision, it’s stated some concerns were raised at an event last year by council staff and residents.

In response the organisers have agreed to conditions from three councils departments. That includes noise levels including bass.

The Licensing Committee also insisted that a consultation meeting be held as well as a letter drop to streets in the area:

  • St Germans Place;
  • Vanbrugh Terrace;
  • Vanbrugh Park;
  • Langton Way.

As a private renter living costs are very high and ads bring in relatively little to the site. I run it alone, and you can support me through Paypal with a one-off or monthly donation here

Another option is via Patreon with offers monthly payments by clicking here

Finally there's the Ko-fi option

Many thanks

There's also a Facebook page for the site here
